Between photographic gaze and work on the material,
A tailor-made approach.
My name is Nina Moëllo.
I am a photographer and artist based in Toulouse, France.
My work focuses on capturing minimalist, high-contrast images that explore the relationship between spaces and the people who inhabit them. I shoot in black and white, constantly seeking balance between shadow, light, and texture. My images come to life far beyond the paper.
What sets me apart?
I print my photographs on raw materials—wood, concrete, stone, metal—to reveal another dimension of the image: a tangible, living artwork. Trained as an engineer and a photographer by vocation, I am deeply committed to the technical mastery of my art.
Each piece is conceived as a dialogue between the image, the material, and the space it inhabits.
In my studio, located in the heart of the countryside, I design and craft each work with precision and care. Nothing is left to chance—from choosing the support to cutting, transferring, and finishing. I also guide clients in selecting a bespoke piece, tailored to their space and vision.
Having traveled extensively, I have long observed lines, volumes, and human traces in urban and domestic environments. Today, I aim to reveal these sensitive imprints, combining technical expertise with a poetic, sensory approach.
My ambition?
To create unique works that integrate naturally into living spaces, bringing emotion and a quiet presence.
